I'm Rob Moal, a virtual personal trainer in Vancouver with over 20 years of experience helping busy professionals lose fat, build strength, and stay consistent. My clients are mostly professionals in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who are serious about results but realistic about how much time they have.
I coach clients across Downtown Vancouver — Yaletown, Coal Harbour, the West End, Gastown, and the Beach District — and remotely across Canada.

Is virtual personal training as effective as in-person?

For most clients, yes. You get the same structured programming and accountability. The main difference is I'm not physically in the room — but weekly form reviews and check-ins close that gap fast.

What equipment do I need?

Whatever you have. I build programs around your setup — full gym, home gym, dumbbells only, or bodyweight. The program fits your situation.

How do weekly check-ins work?

You submit a short update — weight, energy, sleep, training notes — and I respond within 24 hours with feedback and any adjustments.

Do you work with clients outside Vancouver?

Yes. Virtual personal training is available across Canada.

How many sessions per week do I need?

Most virtual clients train 3 times per week following their program, with optional lighter activity days in between.

Can I switch to in-person later?

Yes. Several clients start virtual and transition to in-person once they're in Vancouver or their schedule opens up.
