Personal Trainer West End

The West End is one of Vancouver’s most walkable, liveable neighbourhoods and one of its most diverse. Whether you’re a long-time resident or a professional who moved here for the proximity to downtown and the beach, you’re living in a part of the city that rewards people who take their health seriously.

I’m Rob Moal, a personal trainer with over 20 years of experience helping people on Vancouver’s west side lose fat, build real strength, and move pain-free. I work with clients in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who are done with generic fitness programs and want something built specifically around them.

West End clients often come to me having already tried the gym on their own or with a trainer who handed them a cookie-cutter plan and disappeared between sessions. What I do differently is build a full coaching system around your life: structured
programming, nutrition guidance, accountability, and a program that adjusts when things change. You’re not buying workouts.You’re getting a process that works.

I offer mobile training for clients throughout the West End and work with clients in building gyms or nearby facilities. With Stanley Park and the seawall right at your doorstep, there’s no shortage of environment to work with and I’ll help you use it to your
advantage.

What results can I expect with Train Like Rob?

Do you offer both in-person and online personal training?

Yes. I train clients in person near the West End and also coach online across Canada. Both include goal-specific programming, accountability, and full support.

Where do you train clients in Vancouver?

I work with clients at facilities near the West End and offer mobile training depending on location. Online coaching is also available with structured programs and weekly check-ins.

Do you incorporate outdoor training near Stanley Park or the seawall?

For the right client, yes. Outdoor training can be a great complement to structured gym work. Whether we use the park depends on your goals and program. We’ll discuss it during
your assessment.

Do you have any accreditations or certifications?

Yes, we are accredited by Can-Fit Pro, Precision Nutrition, Grey Institute, Twist Conditioning, FMS and TRX. These certifications are for personal training, nutrition, mobilty and corrective exercise.

I’m in my 40s and haven’t trained consistently in years — is it too late?

Not even close. Many of my best results have come from clients who started in their 40s and 50s after a long break. Your body is still very capable of changing you just need the right program and approach.
